DUBAI (AFP) - Saudi King Abdullah has undergone successful surgery in New York and is feeling much better, Al-Arabiya television reported on Wednesday. The 86-year-old underwent successful surgery in New York and is doing much better following the operation, said the Saudi-owned news channel, which is based in Dubai, without giving a source for the information. King Abdullah flew on Monday to the United States to undergo treatment for a herniated disc. Since his departure, no official announcement has been made on the status of his health.
