KAMOKE - The police claimed to have busted a gang, comprising eight members, wanted in different cases of heinous crimes like dacoity and robbery here the other day.

The police also recovered looted money and illegal arms from their possession.

According to SP (Saddr) Kamran Mumtaz, the police conducted raids in different areas of the tehsil and busted eight members of the gang including - Irfan alias Fana, Babar, Ashfaq alias Shaqa, Shehzad alias Mani, Azeem, Shehbaz, Ali Imran and Manzoor Pervaiz. The police said that the accused were involved in robberies in different localities of Gujranwala, Sheikhupura Road and GT Road. The police also recovered Rs0.6 million, illegal arms and a large number of bullets from their possession.
