‘NH&MP serving nation with professionalism’

islamabad - National Highways and Motorways Police (NH&MP) is serving the nation with high standards of professionalism. 

The force is performing a commendable job in reducing risks to road users and this is well demonstrated by the fact that its jurisdiction continues to expand day-by-day.

This was said by Secretary Communications Khalid Masood Chaudhary while addressing the ceremony of 43rd and 44th batches of NH&MP Road-Safety Training Institute at Islamabad.

He said that due to better services and helping the road users in distress, NH&MP is being honoured in Pakistan as well as abroad.

The secretary communications lauded the performance of NH&MP and said that establishment of standardized driving training institutes by NH&MP is a right step towards meeting the future challenges of CPEC.

This would also facilitate in reducing the accidents on highways and motorways, he said. 

While congratulating the participants, he advised all the trainees and the participants of the ceremony to drive only roadworthy vehicles on the National highways and motorways by keeping these clean and clear for other commuters as well.

He said, “I have been pleased to see the services rendered by National Highway & Motorway Police.” The secretary appreciated the course curriculum and the standard of driving training imparted by NH&MP to the general public.

The Inspector General National Highways & Motorway Police, Shaukat Hayat while speaking on the occasion, said that by upholding to its core values of honesty, courtesy and help, NH&MP has won hearts of the public. He said that NH&MP has reduced the gap between police and public.

National Highway & Motorway Police Road Safety Driving Training Institute Islamabad provides highly professional driving learning and training to public and private sector.

This institute provides a very conducive learning environment for driving training. This institute is equipped with latest learning equipment including a state of the art simulator for beginners of driving learning.

The IG NH&MP further said that Pakistan is at par with advanced countries in the area of motorways and highways. He also said that road safety training institutes are providing best driving education in Pakistan with an academically developed curriculum.
