Possession of plots in Park Enclave soon: Mayor

 islamabad - Mayor of Islamabad and Chairman Capital Development Authority (CDA), Sheikh Anser Aziz has said that process of handing over the possession of plots to the allottees of Park Enclave House Scheme Phase-I would be completed at the earliest.

He said all out measures would be taken to initiate development work in Phase-II of the scheme to accelerate the pace of development activities in the federal capital.

The mayor said this during his visit to Park Enclave Housing Scheme and Kuri Model Village. On this occasion, Deputy Mayor, Riffat Javed and senior officers of Metropolitan Corporation Islamabad (MCI) and CDA were also present.

Aziz was apprised that after the completion of development work in Park Enclave Housing Scheme Phase-I, possession of plots to 400 allottees has been handed over, while the process of handing over the possession of plots to the 300 allottees would start in the next week.

He was further apprised that work on infrastructure in Phase-I of the housing scheme including sewerage and drainage system, road network, water supply, culverts and installation of street lights has been almost completed.

He was informed that electricity and other allied facilities would be provided soon after completion of handing over the possession of plots to the allottees of the housing scheme.

He was also informed that effective strategy has been formulated, adding that under this strategy, the development activities would be started in Park Enclave House Scheme Phase-II.

The mayor directed for effective measures for initiation of development work in Kuri Model Village and other delayed development projects.

He urged the concerned formations to formulate a plan in consultation with elected representatives of the area under which problems of affectees of the area could be resolved in proper manner so that development activities could be started.
