islamabad - Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA) conducted operation against illegal land use and sealed seven shops in the residential – cum – commercial area of Mouza Hayyal, Dhamyal road Rawalpindi. Following directives of Commissioner Rawalpindi Division/Director General (DG) RDA Azmat Mahmud, RDA’s Building Control Wing has been actively conducting continuous operations against illegal/unauthorized commercial and residential construction activities including plazas/shops and other encroachments within the controlled area of RDA in Rawalpindi city. 

Metropolitan Planning and Traffic Engineering (MP&TE) Directorate, Building Control’s staff including Superintendent Nadeem Jamal, Building Inspector Hafiz Muhammad Waqas, and Building Surveyor Khawar Mahmood Kayani today with the assistance of Rawalpindi Police from the concerned Police Station carried out an operation in the area of Mouza Hayyal, Dhamyal road Rawalpindi, Rawalpindi.

Under the provision of Punjab of Cities Act 1976, RDA Enforcement team carried out an operation and sealed seven illegal/unauthorized shops owned by Muhammad Khursheed in the area of Halyal, Dhamyal road Rawalpindi. 

The DG RDA has directed the Building control section to take strict action against all illegal / unauthorized constructions, commercial activities and encroachments without any fear or favour.
