LAHORE - Punjab Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Thursday, in his message on first death anniversary of Shaheed pilot Marium Mukhtiar, said that the entire nation was proud of Marium Mukhtiar.

He said Marium Mukhtiar, brave daughter of Pakistan, was a role model for the entire nation.

He said that flying officer Marium Mukhtiar had God gifted capabilities. He said that daughters like Shaheed Marium Mukhtiar were a beacon of light for the entire nation.

Shehbaz Sharif said joining of Pakistan Air Force by Marium Mukhtiar had made clear to the nation that the confidence, courage and passion of Pakistani women was no less than active women of developed countries.

He said that the nations which had talented daughters like Marium Mukhtiar always succeeded.
