LAHORE -  Minister for Railways Khawaja Saad Rafique has said PPP Co-Chairman Asif Ali Zardari will be responsible if passage of the constitutional amendment for fresh delimitation of electoral constituencies on the basis of the latest census is delayed.

Talking to the media here on Friday, Rafique said the PPP did not show up in the parliament to vote on the amendment. He said such acts of the PPP leadership were against the ideology of PPP founder Zulfikar Ali Bhutto. He said it was time for the PPP leaders to think. He said the PML-N was not campaigning for passage of the amendment for any personal gains; it wanted to get the amendment passed in the interest of democracy and the democratic system.

To a question, he said that PTI Chairman Imran Khan had become a pitiable person, as he was levelling allegations of corruption against every politician.
