4 people have been killed and 10 injured in an explosion on Sariab road in Quetta, reported Waqt News.
According to police, 4 people have been killed, including a child, in an explosion on on old Sariab road, near a bus stand.
A Frontier Corps (FC) vehicle was the target of blast, Balochistan Home Minister Sarfaraz Bugti confirmed. Two FC vehicles, three rickshaws and motorcycles were also damaged as result of the blast.
According to rescue sources, a number of vehicles and buildings in the vicinity were also damaged as a result of the powerful explosion.
Rescue teams have shifted 10 injured people to the hospital, while two have died.
As per Civil Hospital Spokesperson Waseem Baig, at least four people were killed and a number of people have been injured.
According to reports, emergency has been declared in all hospitals in Quetta. The nature of the blast is yet to be ascertained.
Chief Minister Balochistan Nawab Sanaullah Khan Zehri while condemning the incident, he has ordered immediate treatment for the injured.
There was no immediate claim of responsibility for the blast.
