An earthquake measuring 4.1 magnitudes on the Richter scale has jolted Malakand.

The tremors of quake 4.1 magnitudes were felt on Sunday in Malakand. The people rushed out of their homes in panic reciting Kalima Tayyaba.

No loss of life or property from the quake has been reported so far. The epicentre of the quake was a border area of Tajikistan near the Pak-Afghan border. The focal depth of the quake was 130 kilometre.
