A four-year-old child Sunday became the latest victim of the brutal tendencies prevailing in the society when two of his uncles tried to torch him to death in Khairpur, reported a private TV channel. The barbaric incident took place at Wandha neighbourhood of the town over a minor quarrel among the children while playing near their houses, which fumed Abdul Wahid Abro and Riaz Abro, the uncles of the victim Muzammil. The culprits fled the scene after the heinous act; however, police later on managed to capture one of them. Muzammil was shifted to the Civil Hospital in critical condition where the doctors said 70 per cent of his body had been burnt.
