QUETTA: A high-level meeting with Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif in the chair reviewed law and order situation after Monday's terrorist attack on Police Training Centre in Quetta.
The participants of the meeting also discussed the prevailing law and order situation in Balochistan, especially in provincial metropolis Quetta.
Among others, the meeting was attended by Balochistan Governor Muhammad Khan Achakzai, Chief Minister Nawab Sanaullah Khan Zehri, Minister for Interior Chaudary Nisar Ali Khan, and Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif.
Three militants on Monday stormed a police training college in Quetta, prompting a military operation to clear the premises which also houses hundreds of police cadets.
At least 60 policemen were confirmed dead and 120 cadets injured in the terror attack.
Security sources say that out of the three militants, two had blown up themselves while the third was shot dead.
The attack was later claimed by the Islamic State militant group.
