KARACHI - Sindh Inspector General of Police Allah Dino Khawaja has said that women stabbings is a conspiracy to create harassment, however, these incidents are being investigated from all angles.

He expressed these views as chief guest at a passing out parade of 1722 recruits of the third and fourth batch of the recruit course at the Razzaqabad police training centre on Tuesday.

He said that Sindh high court’s directors are clear and he has completed all the responsibilities which he was given by the court. “I did not approach the court, however, the civil society approached the court and I was not invited in a case,” he said.

IGP Khawaja said that he was struggling for the improvement of the police department and then everyone would feel proud on the police department, adding that police’s job is very tough. He also congratulated to the recruits.

Meanwhile, Additional IG Karachi Mushtaq Mahar has constituted at least 16 committees to conduct interviews of the candidates by NTS Pakistan in connection with the recruitment to the post of the police constables in Karachi.

According to a notification issued by the Additional IG Karachi on Tuesday, in pursuance of committee order of IGP Sindh regarding general recruitments to the post of police constables in Karachi, additionally, 16 committees consisting of zonal and district police chiefs of Karachi headed by Additional IG Karachi has been constituted to conduct interview of candidates by NTS Pakistan in connection with the recruitment to the post of the police constables in Karachi.

It further stated that DIGP South will compile and prepare merit result sheet of all candidates, get signatures on each page of result sheet from the committee officers constituted by the IGP Sindh and put up the same immediately. Attendance sheet of officers as well as candidates shall also be prepared, it added.
