PPP wants CPEC fruit for GB: Bilawal

ISLAMABAD:- Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) chief Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on Tuesday said that his party wanted the fruits of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) for the people of the Gilgit-Baltistan. Speaking to a PPP delegation from Gilgit-Baltistan led by President PPP GB Amjad Hussain, Bilawal said that measures should be taken to hold elections all over Pakistan including GB on the same day.  He also instructed the delegation to take measures to strengthen the party in the GB.–Staff Reporter 

Bilawal said that the former president Asif Ali Zardari fulfilled the promise made by Benazir Bhutto by giving identity to the people of the GB.

He said that Zulfikar Ali Bhutto loved the GB immensely.

Senior Vice President PPP GB Jamil Ahmed, Secretary Information GB Sadia Danish, former ministers Aftab Ahmed and Mohammed Ali Akhtar were part of the delegation.

President PPP GB apprised chairman of the political situation in GB and party organisation.
