US Chargé d'Affaires, Paul Jones called on Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi in Islamabad Thursday and discussed the regional security situation.
Both the sides agreed to further strengthen bilateral relations.
They also agreed to work together to achieve the common objectives in the region.
