LAHORE The 58th National Cycling Championship will paddle off today (September 25) here at the Cycling Velodrome. President Pakistan Railways Sports Board Muhammad Junaid Qurashi will be chief guest for opening ceremony at 3.00 pm. All the teams have reached the city to participate in the Championship which will conclude on September 28. The Pakistan Railways Sports Board is organising the championship at Lahore on behalf of Pakistan Cycling Federation. All arrangements have been finalised for the holding of championship. This is a national level cycling event and the affiliated Units of PCF i.e. Army, Railways, Wapda, Sui Southern Gas Company, all the four provinces and FATA are participating. The opening ceremony will be held at the Cycling Velodrome (near Gaddafi Stadium), Ferozepur Road Lahore on September 25 at 03.00 PM which will be graced by Mr. Muhammad Junaid Qurashi President Pakistan Railways Sports Board at the Cycling Velodrome. In this championship nine events will be competed. Pakistan Wapda will defend the title of Championship.
