OUR STAFF REPORTER SIALKOT - The district coordination officer has directed the district officials to early purchase as many as 10 fumigation machines each for every tehsil of Sialkot to carry out the anti-dengue fumigation drive. Addressing an important meeting of the Tehsil Municipal Administration officials here, Mujahid Sher Dil said that Rs 10 million would be spent on this purchase. He asked the officials to jazz up the speed of the anti-dengue fumigation without any political indiscrimination. On the other hand, the Sialkot health department officials were giving priority to the areas pointed out by the local politicians for fumigation. According to the District Health Officer Dr Fiaz Ahmed Butt, the process of anti-dengue fumigation was at snails pace in the district due to the acute shortage of the fumigation machines.
