LAHORE - The PPP-PML-Q alliance is unnatural and there is dire need for unity among all factions of the party that created Pakistan, a leader of the PML-Q said here on Saturday. Senator Muhammad Ali Durrani, who was the information minister during the Musharraf period, said while speaking in Aiwan-i-Waqt that a united PML would boost the morale of the nation and enable it to face the US threats. But in case the PML leaders did not realise the gravity of the situation the resultant damage would be much more than caused by floods and dengue virus, he warned. Durrani is working these days for provincial status to Bahawalpur, a mission not backed by other PML-Q leaders. The former minister said that a united PML alone could steer the country out of the crises. Durrani also called on TheNation Editor-in-Chief Majid Nizami and praised his efforts to unite the PML factions.
