OUR STAFF REPORTER HAFIZABAD - The Punjab government has approved the appointment of more teachers in the Boys Degree Collage for starting MA classes in the subjects of Islamiyat and Economics from October. Postgraduate blocks in both the boys and womens colleges were constructed four years back but due to teachers shortage, MA classes in both the colleges had not been started. However, the provincial government has not yet approved the appointment in Women Collage and parents of girl students have urged the government to start MA classes in the collage without further delay. The parents said that their daughters have discontinued their higher studies after passing BA Examination as the dues of private colleges were unaffordable for them.
