QUETTA - Two people were killed and three others, including a girl were kidnapped in different towns of Balochistan on Saturday. Some people opened indiscriminate fire on Abdul Karim in Goth Ghulam Rasool, within the jurisdiction of RD 298 Jaffarabad. He sustained serious wounds and succumbed to his injuries. Police said motive of the killing was enmity and they were conducting raids to arrest the accused persons. In another incident, unknown armed men killed by firing Ghulam Nabi Marri in Killi Podi, some 15 kilometres from Kohlu. The assailants managed to flee the scene. In Qila Abdullah district, unidentified armed men kidnapped two local traders. Sources said gunmen intercepted vehicle of Amir Hamza and Abdul Qahir on Quetta-Chaman highway and kidnapped them along with their vehicle. Levies after being informed rushed to the area and started a manhunt. A daughter of a government official was kidnapped in Quetta by unknown gunmen. Police said, kidnappers knocked at the house door of Section Officer Muhammad Saeed Ishfaq at GOR Colony and kidnapped his teenaged daughter Aqira Saeed. Police have registered a case and were trying to trace out the kidnappers.
