SIALKOT - A seven-year-old daughter of a labourer was allegedly raped by a local vagabond in village Dugri Araayiaan, Sialkot tehsil on Tuesday.
Saeed Anwar’s daughter whose name was upheld was playing in a street in front of her house when Khalid took her to a nearby deserted place, where he raped her. On listening her hue and cry, some villagers caught the accused red-handed and handed him over to the police after torturing him severely. Head Marala police have registered a case and sent the accused behind bars. The victim was admitted to Sialkot Allama Iqbal Memorial DHQ Hospital, where her condition was stated to be critical.
Meanwhile, in village Gopipur-Satrah, Daska tehsil, one Waqas molested local farmer Habibullah’s minor son Hamza (7). Reportedly, the accused took the child to a nearby deserted place from his house and molested the kid. Some villagers gathered there but the accused managed to escape. The Satrah police have registered a case with no arrest in this regard. The victim was admitted to Daska Civil Hospital in critical condition.
