Student of private education institutions bagged all the three top positions including the top two by the girls in the Intermediate annual examination 2013 results announced by DG Khan BISE here the other day.
The passing percentage remained 62.96 as 19,277 candidates passed the examination out of the total 30,619 who appeared in the exam.
As per the results, position holders were announced by DG Khan BISE Controller (Examinations) Khan Abdul Waheed Khan Qaisrani and Deputy Controller Sheikh Amjad Hussain. Javeria Manzoor Roll no 401894 of Punjab Girls College Kot Adu secured over all first position with 1027 marks while Zahra Hassan Roll no 401151 of Zakria Higher Secondary School Layyah stood second with 1026 marks and Mohammad Basit Roll no 403736 of Rashid Minhas Public School Alipur clinched third position with 1023 marks.
In pre-medical group boys Mohammad Basit Roll no 403736 of Rashid Minhas Public School Alipur stood first by getting 1023 marks, Mohammad Talha Liaqat Roll no 403606 of Punjab College Layyah stood second with 1021 marks and Mashood Iqbal Roll no 404985 of Sardar Kourey Khan Public School stood third with 1019 marks.
Among the girls of pre-medical group Javeria Manzoor Roll no 401894 of Punjab College Kot Adu topped by getting 1027 marks, Zahra Hassan Roll no 401151 of Zakria Higher Secondary Layyah got second position with 1026 marks while Ishrat Fatima Roll no 401914 of Punjab College Kot Adu grabbed the third position with 1018 marks.
In SAHWIAL, girls students grabbed over all top positions in the Intermediate Annual examination 2013 of BISE Sahwial. All the three girls students belonged to pre-medical group which includes Romaisa Tariq obtained 1034 marks of DPHS School for Girls Okara stood first, Adeen Zahoor of DPS Sahiwal stood second with 1031 marks and Marium Mushtaq of Punjab College Okara stood third by scoring 1025 marks.
The results were announced by BISE Controller (Examinations) Shahid Pervaiz Qureshi in a special ceremony held at Govt PG College. The function was presided over by BISE Chairman Mehar Bashir Ahmad while Provincial Minister for Social Welfare Mian Atta Manika was chief guest and MPAs - Javed Allao Din and Malik Muhammad Arshad were guests of honour. Govt Postgraduate College Principal Dr Anwaar Ahmad was also present.
According to details, position holders of premedical Group include Hamza Tahir of Sufa Educational Complex Okara who stood first with 1020 marks, Husnain Shahid of DPS Sahwial stood second with 1018 marks and Syed Omair Shah Sherazi of DPS Sahwial stood third by obtaining 1017 marks.
Likewise in Pre-Engeering group from boys, Muhammad Faizan Amir of DPS Sahwial stood first with 1020 marks, Muhammad Zain Gull of DPS stood second with 1015 marks and Hafiz Mohsin Abdul Rasheed of Govt Postgraduate College Sahwial stood third with 1012 marks.
Similarly from girls, Urwah Kiran of Unique Public H S School Chichawatni stood first with 1002 marks in Pre-Engineering group, Javaria Tahir Of Punjab College Sahiwal stood second with 994 marks and Aqsa Nawaz of Punjab College Sahiwal stood third with 988 marks.
In general science group Hamad Aslam of Punjab College Okara stood first with 944 marks and Muhammad Ahmad of same college stood second with 926 marks.
