Peshawar police arrest six suspects

PESHAWAR - Peshawar police have arrested six suspected persons in double suicide attacks on All Saint Church while a team of Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) recorded statements of the people, collected evidences and inspected the Church and its surroundings.
City police have reportedly apprehended six suspected persons in Peshawar Church double suicide attacks incident. Sources said that police have carried out a search operation in various areas of the city and reportedly detained some six people.
However, when this scribe contacted police of the concerned police station, they denied any arrest in this connection, adding neither operation has been conducted nor any arrest was made. It has also been learnt that police have also recovered two pistols and a hand grenade from the blast site.
Meanwhile, a team of Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) from Islamabad arrived Peshawar and collected evidence at the Peshawar Church blast site and also inspect the building and its surroundings.
