ISLAMABAD - Rawalpindi/Islamabad Sports Journalists Association (RISJA) cricket team overwhelmed Pakistan Cricket Association for Physically Handclapped (PCAPH) cricket team by 36 runs in a friendly 10-over match here at Pindi Cricket Stadium on Wednesday. The match was originally T20 but was reduced to 10-overs aside due to wet conditions of the pitch. MNA Isphandyar Bhindara was the chief guest on the occasion, while assistant commissioner city Quratulain Malik, DSO Rawalpindi Abdul Waheed Babar, PCAPH chairman Raja Imran Hussain, ICCI vp M Ashfaq Chatha, senior members Nasir Mehmood Ch, ex-vp Saeed Ahmed Bhatti, Akhunzada Faheem, cricketer Sohail Tanvir, Umer Amin, Pindi region head coach Sabih Azhar, RISJA president Mohsin Ali, executive committee chairman M Faheem Anwar Khan, joint secretary Rana Tanveer Javed along with others were also present at the venue. RISJA team, batting first, scored 102-4 in 10 overs. Afzal Javed scored 30 runs. Mohsin Ali hit 30 with the help of two towering sixes and three boundaries and Mohsin Ijaz added 24 runs. In reply, PCAPH team could score 66-6 in the allotted overs. Afzal Javed clinched 4-7, while Shakir Abbasi and Syed Sammer Abbas got one wicket each.–Staff Reporter
