Man shot dead in street fight

LAHORE - A 45-year-old man was shot dead by his relatives during street fight in Misri Shah on Thursday. The killers fled the crime scene while the police have removed the body to the morgue for autopsy.
Resident of Aziz Road, Ayyub was tying his horse to a pole outside the house of Kashif when the latter asked the former not to do that. Both the neighbours exchanged harsh words over the issue.
A few minutes later, Kashif along with his accomplices including Akram, Jahangir, and Waseem stopped Ayyub in the street and started fighting.
In the meantime, Kashif took out a pistol and opened straight fire on Ayyub, who is said to be cousin of the alleged killer. The man sustained multiple bullet injuries and was rushed to a hospital where he was pronounced as brought dead. The police have registered a murder case against Kashif and his accomplices and are investigating with no arrest made yet.
SUICIDE: A mother of two died at a hospital on Thursday, a day after she drank acid at her house in Gujjarpura. The family told the police that 30-year-old Rukhsana Bibi drank acid after her husband exchanged harsh words with her over a domestic dispute. She was rushed to the Mayo Hospital where she expired on early Thursday.
FOUND DEAD: A 40-year-old man was found dead from Lytton Road police precincts on Thursday. The body was moved to the morgue for autopsy.
Police investigators said the man, unidentified so far, apparently was a drug addict. The man was lying dead near a graveyard as the police reached the spot. Some passersby spotted the body and contacted the police. Further investigation was underway.
