16 outlaws arrested; narcotics, weapons seized

Islamabad-Islamabad police have arrested 16 outlaws from various areas of the city and recovered hashish, weapons, and stolen property from their possession, a police spokesman said.

According to details, Bhara Khau police arrested two accused Abdul Aziz and Sheryaar Khan and recovered 250 grams hashish from their possession. Police team also arrested accused Bashrat and recovered stolen property from him.

Ramana police arrested an Afghan national Sanober. Shams Colony police arrested a thief and recovered stolen property from him. Sabzi Mandi police recovered stolen property from the arrested accuse Moman Khan. Tarnol police recovered one 30-bore pistol from arrested accuse Abdul Rasheed.

Cases have been registered against these nabbed persons and further investigation is underway from them.

Furthermore police also arrested 09 professional alms-seekers. The SSP of Islamabad, Sajid Kiani has directed to make this crackdown effective and curb this menace.
