Cheaters caught

LAHORE: Three students were caught using unfair means during the BISE matriculation (supplementary) exam, officials said yesterday.

Two other fake candidates were also held from Government Pilot Secondary School, Wahdat Road, during the visit of Controller Examination Prof Nasir Jamil to the examination centre. Muhammad Rauf (Roll No 130154), Ali Hassan (Roll No 130058), and Muhmmad Waseem (Roll No 130262) were caught red-handed using unfair means. They were booked for using fraudulent means to crack out the exam. Muhammad Saleem and Muhammad Aqeel were caught attempting the English paper in the place of Muhammad Tariq, Roll No 130123, and Muazzam Ali, Roll No 130108, respectively.

Both the fake candidates were handed over to Allama Iqbal Town Police and a case was also registered against them.

The BISE chairman has ordered the mobile inspectors to submit inspection reports on daily basis.–PR
