SIALKOT-Anti-Corruption Establishment (ACE) Gujranwala Divisional Director Raba Abdul Shakur has ordered the early registration of corruption and fraud cases against two doctors and two Patwaries.

They are deputed at Sialkot, Mandi Bahauddin and Gujranwala districts. Rana Abdul Shakur told newsmen here that the details inquiries were conducted against the accused doctors and Patwaries, who were found guilty for taking bribe, tempering the official records.He said that ACE has recommended immediate registration of case against accused Dr Muneer Shah of Sialkot health department for misusing his official powers and tempering the official record. Dr Qalb-e-Abbas Shirazi was recruited at Mandi Bahauddin health department on fake degrees. Patwari is accused of taking Rs120,000 bribe and accused Patwari Naseer of taking Rs45, 000 as bribe.

LEAS MONITORING RELIGIOUS CLERICS: The law-enforcing agencies (LEAs) have started special monitoring of religious clerics to ensure peace and religious harmony during Muharram. According to the senior officials, there are a total of 27 fourth schedulers in Sialkot district, who have already been asked to ensure their attendance at their police stations concerned.
