LAHORE:- Pakistan hockey team thrashed Chinese Taipie 6-1 in their opening tie of the 4th Boys Under-18 Asia Cup at Dhaka on Saturday. According to PHF spokesman, Chinese Taipie put started the first half well but Pakistanis slammed the first goal which was equalised by Chinese Taipie. Pakistan then took 2-1 lead which remained intact till the end of first half. In the second half, Pakistan dominated fully and hammered four more goals to emerge triumphant by 6-1. For Pakistan, Adeel Latif had a brace while Amjad, Ahmad, Shahzaib and Waqar scored one goal apiece.–Staff Reporter
