PESHAWAR - Unknown miscreants attacked sensitive airport area with two rockets fired from some unknown locality during the night between Friday and Saturday. However, no loss of life or property was reported. Police sources said that the rockets fired from an unknown location hit the airport area at around 2:00am. Soon after the explosion heavy contingent of police rushed towards the site. Both the rockets exploded with big bang and caused severe fear and panic in the surrounding areas of Peshawar Airport. Peshawar Airport is situated adjacent to Bara area wherefrom most of the rockets are probably fired. After the incident, security in the area has been beefed up.
