TALIBAN have looted seven trucks loaded with chemical fertilizer in Swat which, according to security officials, the insurgents use for making bombs, the BBC reported Saturday. According to locals, Taliban looted trucks loaded with 'ammonium nitrate' in Chahar Bagh and Guli Bagh areas. Truck-driver Muhammad Javed told the BBC that they were going to Basham from Tangi tehsil of Charsadda when armed Taliban intercepted them at Chahar Bagh near Bara. According to him, Taliban said they are seizing the fertilizer-loaded trucks because they belonged to the government. Afterwards, Taliban unloaded the trucks at different places and allowed the drivers to leave, the driver said. Each truck was loaded with over 400 bags of ammonium nitrate, he added.
