LAHORE A meeting was held under the chairmanship of Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif regarding the Lahore Mass Transit System at CMs Secretariat here on Monday. Senator Pervaiz Rashid, Chairman LTC Khawaja Ahmed Hassaan, MPAs Khawaja Salman Rafiq, Hafiz Mian Nauman, Mohsin Latif and Mehr Ishtiaq, Chairman Planning & Development, Secretaries of Finance and Transport departments, Director General LDA, Commissioner and DCO Lahore were present. Chairman Planning & Development Javed Aslam highlighted the salient features of the project signed with the Chinese company NORINCO regarding Lahore Mass Transit Project. The Chief Minister said the project evolved with the cooperation of China would usher in a revolution in public transport system in Pakistan.
