ISLAMABAD (Agencies) - Pakistan President and Cricket Board patron Asif Ali Zardari has reportedly decided to terminate the services of Pakistan Cricket Board Chairman Ijaz Butt, reports Indian daily the Indian Express on Monday. Butts contract will expire in October. The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has started to look for suitable candidates for the post. It has also been reported that former PCB CEO Arif Ali Khan Abbasi and former Pakistan Cricket Board ad-hoc committee chairman Dr. Zafar Altaf are front runners for the post. Abbasi was Pakistan Cricket Board CEO from January 1994 to May 1996. Dr. Altaf was the PCB ad-hoc committee chairman between October and December 1999. Butt was appointed Pakistan Cricket Board chairman in October 2008 for a period of two years, which later got extend.
