KARACHI - Four people were killed in separate incidents of violence and target killing in different parts of the provincial metropolis on Monday. A man was shot dead and his brother sustained injuries when a man opened fire on them in the limits of Kharadar Police Station. However, police managed to arrest the killer in Paper Market. The incident took place at Qasim Oil Shop situated at Paper Market Kharadar, when an armed man namely Hanif alias Kasoo reached there and sprayed bullets. Resultantly, 30-year-old Ejaz died on the spot and his brother, Noor Muhammad, 58, sustained injuries. After being informed, police rushed to the spot and arrested the killer and recovered weapon from his possession. The body and injured were shifted to Civil Hospital Karachi (CHK) for medico-legal formalities and treatment. SHO Ghulam Nabi Afridi said victim used to run an oil shop and also lived in the same area where his shop was situated. He said accused was mentally not balanced and in the wee hours of Monday he left his home for Paper Market and after that he killed the man. Afridi said victim had no conflict with accused and the accused is mentally sick. Further investigations were underway. Police on Monday found a bullet-riddled body of a man from Jalbani Goth in the limits of Khokhrapar Police Station.
