LAHORE - Governor Sardar  Latif Khosa has said that south Punjab is all set to become a separate province, come what may.

Punjab’s division is now inevitable. It is writing on the wall”, he observed while talking to reporters at the residence of former MPA Nasrullah Dareshak where he had gone to condole the death of latter’s sister.

He said the nomenclature of the proposed new province was not an issue, as it made no difference to the people of the region. “You may call the new province with any name like ‘Panjnad’ or ‘Bahawalpur’, he added.  Khosa expressed his optimism that PPP would end PML-N hegemony in Punjab.
