Awami Muslim League (AML) chief, Sheikh Rasheed has said that despite Supreme Court’s verdict convicting Prime Minister Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani in contempt court case, it seems that PM allies would continue to stand by him.

Talking to a private TV channel on Thursday, Sheikh Rashid said that SC has held Prime Minister Gilani guilty of contempt for not writing the letter to Swiss authorities in the NRO case. He said that the Prime Minister was more concerned about his son than himself. The AML chief said that it remained to be seen how opposition would react to the verdict and force the government to implement it.
