LAHORE – Sabzazar Football Club (FC) edged out Nasir Shaheed Football Club by two goals to zero to qualify for the semi-finals of the DS Lahore Challenge Cup Football Tournament here at the Burt Institute ground on Friday. In the third quarterfinal of the tournament, Sabzazar FC dominated both the halves and displayed quality football throughout the match. Faisal scored his first goal for the team in the first half while the second half saw the second goal of the team from Javed. The fourth quarterfinal of the tournament will be played between Usmania Club and Gulshan Ravi Club. The organising secretary of the event claimed that the tournament was being organised in a befitting manner and all the basic facilities had been provided to every player.–Staff Reporter
