The Islamia University of Bahawalpur has established an office to facilitate special students with regard to getting information about admissions, fee, scholarships, hostels and other academic matters under one roof.

Dr Qaiser Mushtaq, the vice chancellor, said this during a meeting held with special students at his office. He said that welfare of special students had been his top priority since his joining the university.

The students are being provided special transport to move from hostel to campuses, he said and added three percent job quota has been allocated in all the jobs at the university as announced by the government, and they are charged no fee.

A summary has been sent to government for establishing a building, supplying wheel chairs, constructing lifts and ramps to facilitate the students, he said. All the IUB buildings will be made special students-friendly.
