SIALKOT- Taking lead in all the local elected public representatives in Sialkot district, Pasrur-based MPA Rana Muhammad Afzal on Saturday visited Govt Boys Primary School Kheewa Bajwa.

The taught different subjects during two periods to students and stressed the need for the promotion of quality education. He also emphasised steps to increase enrolment of children in the schools. The students were much pleased to see the MPA amongst them.

He informed that he took the step under the Punjab CM's initiative "Parho Punjab, Bharo Punjab". The MPA termed the teaching experience as very pleasant and vowed to continue this practice in future.

He said that he was also very happy to teach the students. He taught two periods to the students in their classes. He said that the children were future of the nation and it was the national obligation of all and sundry to provide quality education to the children.

Training workshop set up at jail: District and Sessions Judge Shahid Rafiq inaugurated an electrical training workshop here district jail on Saturday.

He said that objective of the training workshop was to provide training of advanced technical skills to all the young inmates in the district jail. District Jail Superintendent Hafiz Abdul Aziz, President Sialkot District Bar Association (DBA) Khawaja Mushtaq, SP (Investigations) Irfan Tariq Khan and other senior jail officials were also present on the occasion.
