3 SALU employees go missing

KHAIRPUR - Three employees of Shah Abdul Latif University Khairpur go missing while on their way to Madeji.
The SALU employees - Shakeel Ahmed Memon, Maqbool Ahmed Memon and driver Akram Phulpoto went to Madeji from Pir Jo Goth in a car but there is no clue to them yet. Their relatives have started search. They said that their men had been kidnapped. In a statement, SALU Employees Union president Aslam Ghumro strongly condemned the incident. He warned the authorities concerned of protest if sincere efforts are not made to recover the missing employees.
Meanwhile, three people, including a girl, were killed and three others injured in an attack by dacoits near Gulu Sial.
A dacoit gang headed by Nazro Narejo attacked houses of Khuhro community with rocket launchers and other sophisticated weapons near village Ismail in the jurisdiction of Gulu Sial Police Station, the katcha area of Indus River, killing Nazir Khuhro and Hakim Khuhro on the spot and injured two girls.  Majeedan Khuhro, 13, Marvi and Bashir Khuhro. The bodies and injured were shifted to Gambat hospital where Majeedan succumbed to the injuries. The cause behind the attack was stated to be an ongoing dispute between Khuhro and Narejo communities in katcha area of Indus River. Gulu Sial police was informed of the incident but it did not reach for help. The dacoits fired rocket launchers for one hour, villagers said.
