PM to share govt’s future plan of action

Islamabad - Prime Minister Imran Khan will share today (Thursday) his government’s plan of action for next two years, besides highlighting achievements on completion of three years in office. 

According to official sources, Prime Minister will launch here three year’s performance report of each ministry and division in uplifting the plight of the down trodden in accordance with his vision of Naya Pakistan (New Pakistan).

The report that has been compiled by the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting under the patronage of Minister for Information and Broadcasting Chaudhry Fawad Hussain covers period of three years 2018-21 and consists of 251 pages. The report highlights government’s challenges and achievements in various fields of 44 ministries, divisions and attached departments .

It also focuses on key objectives of each ministry, division and attached departments, updates on initiatives, long-term strategies, legislative policy framework and the projects in the pipeline.

It would not be out of place to mention that government of Prime Minister Imran Khan soon after coming into power in August 2018 had faced numerous ‘inherited challenges’ including financial instability, poverty, and inadequate education and health facilities.

Yet, despite all these challenges, the government successfully managed and overcome key problems in its journey of development. Government’s strategy to tackle outbreak of COVID-19 through smart lockdown has paid the dividends and appreciated by the international community.
