ISLAMABAD – Pakistan-origin British boxer former World Lightweight boxing champion Amir Khan is reaching Islamabad today (Monday) to be the guest of honour in the second Benazir Bhutto Shaheed International Boxing Championship currently underway at Liaquat Gymnasium.

Amir was expected to be at the inauguration ceremony of the event but due to his other commitments and waiting for the rematch with US boxer he couldn't turn up on 22nd. It is worth mention here that Amir Khan's younger brother Haroon Khan who is representing Pakistan in this event will also be seen in action today in the 52-category bout.

Meanwhile, Mike Tyson (Abdul Aziz) former world heavyweight boxing champion chances of coming to attend the ceremony are over, as he couldn't get the security clearance from his embassy.
