LAHORE - Anti Narcotics Campaign Consultant Zulfiqar Hussain has said that teachers and parents can play vital role to control drug addiction in youth.

He said drug addiction was a serious issue in society and unfortunately eight million people were using soft and hard drugs in Pakistan.

He stated this during a seminar titled “Drug Abuse in Youth” organised at Government Degree College for Women, Shahlamar Town Lahore. The event was organised in collaboration with Youth Council for Anti Narcotics (YOCFAN).

College Principal Shahnaz Sattar presided over the seminar. Zulfiqar Hussain said that the new trend of “Sheesha” had increased in our youth and young boys and girls were using it as a fashion in Lahore.
