Christams loan disbursement ceremony by  Akhuwat
LAHORE (PR): Akhuwat organized a special loan disbursement ceremony at the St. Mary Magdalene Church to celebrate Christmas. Speaking at the occasion Rev. Habib University announces scholarship programme

Telenor largest AMR
solutions provider

ISLAMABAD  (PR): Telenor Pakistan has become the largest Automated Meter Reading (AMR) solutions provider in the country with an on-going deployment of 17,000 smart meters in five cities of Pakistan including Islamabad, Hyderabad, Multan, Lahore and Peshawar.
Automatic meter reading, or AMR, is the technology of automatically collecting consumption, diagnostic, and status data from water meter or energy metering devices (gas, electric) and transferring that data to a central database for billing, troubleshooting, and analyzing.
Automated Smart Meters have been deployed in five distribution companies in collaboration with International Resources Group, an American enterprise which is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Engility Corporation. 
The Automated Smart Meter deployment will help reduce distribution losses, electricity theft and increasing labor productivity by automating monitoring, meter reading and load management.

FRESH chairperson calls on Bishop of Lahore

LAHORE   (PR): Chairperson Foundation for Rehabilitation & Education of Slow Children (FRESH) Ashba Kamran called on the Bishop of Lahore Rt Rev Irfan Jamil and apprised him about the efforts made by the Foundation for education and rehabilitation of slow children.
Ashba Kamran told the Bishop of that the FRESH has launched Pakistan Association for Disabilities in Learning (PADIL) a year back to raise awareness about learning disabilities among masses and change the prevailing mindset of society about persons with learning disabilities.
She said FRESH is of considered opinion that high school dropout rate in Pakistan was merely because of the unattended phenomenon of learning disabilities among children. She deplored that no government mechanism was in place to assess Learning Disabilities among children at primary level through qualified professionals and psychiatrists.
