ISLAMABAD - Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has recovered more than Rs5.188,907  million in a corruption case in which a revenue officer of Rawalpindi Cantonment Board and a private builder are allegedly involved. The Anti Corruption Circle (ACC) Rawalpindi of FIA had registered an FIR against misappropriation of public money and two main accused namely Malik Anwer, owner Asia Builders and Safdar Gondal, Revenue Officer RCB had been arrested. ACC Inspector Afzal Khan had made the arrests. A senior officer of FIA said that during the physical remand of both accused, IO Afzal Niazi had recovered total misappropriated money amounting to Rs5.188,907 through bank draft and 100 percent recovery had been made in this case.
