LAHORE - Intelligence agency today took five persons including a doctor in custody during a search operation in a medical college in Lahore.

Evidence related all the five detainees to an outlawed organization, while the doctor worked as a facilitator to the banned organization and played a pivotal role in strengthening the network of the terrorists. Action against the doctor has been taken on the basis of an intelligence report.

In another event of a search operation carried out in Peshawar by the police in Qazi Killey and adjoining areas, more than 70 suspects including Afghans were detained and huge cache of weapons was recovered. Women police searched the premises of the house while search dogs facilitated the capture.
