ISLAMABAD- The government and Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) teams, today held discussions to reach an agreement on the Terms of Reference (TORs) for the proposed judicial commission, mandated to scan rigging allegations in the 2013 general elections.

Speaking to journalists, PTI representative Shah Mehmood Qureshi said the two teams will meet tomorrow to continue the dialogue process.

The meeting was held following rejection of the government’s draft for the judicial commission ordinance by the PTI.

Shah Mehmmod Qureshi said he congratulates the government for the efforts it has been making to resolve the deadlock. However, he added that he was a little disappointed from the meeting. Qureshi said that he was expecting today’s session to be decisive. Qureshi said his party still has reservations over the draft being prepared by the government.
