Islamabad: Capital Development Authority (CDA) administration has decided to install modern cameras in five blocks of its offices for their monitoring and linking them to high tech security system.
According to media reports, the process of installation of 91 modern cameras in five blocks of chairman office has been started. The project will cost Rs 85 Lac.
On the other hand, for monitoring of fuel filling in department vehicles, both government pumps have been linked to control room through cameras and about one dozen cameras has been installed on petrol pumps of sector G -7 and MPO H-9 sector.
Member administration CDA Muhammad Yasir Pirzada has said that directorate of admin has started the work of installation of cameras on the emergency basis and for this purpose, department is hiring services of NTC.
In the next phase of this process, all 27 formations of CDA will be connected.
It is vital to mention here that before this; only 8 old technology cameras were installed in CDA.
