Pakistan is sunk deep in the economic quagmire. I think we should think of something other than having a commercial banker as finance minister. This experiment has failed completely, even though, it was tried as an exercise in 'equal billing (remember, Shaukat Aziz, a banker, was painted as the Pakistani 'economist in press upon his appointment as finance minister, basically to compare with Dr. Manmohan Singh, the Indian economist who began free market reforms as finance minister).
