LAHORE The Punjab government on Friday repatriated eight senior officers to Islamabad, and they have been relieved of their duties with the provincial government. Most of them were Officers on Special Duty with the Services and General Administration Department. These include Ali Raza Bhutta, Captain (r) Musawwir Abbas Naqvi, Aftab Habib and Sajjad Ahmed Bhutta. Moreover, Member (Enquiries) S&GAD Dr Kamran Afzal Cheema, Members Planning and Development Board Imran Ahmed, Muhammad Ashraf and Muhammad Rizwan Taqi have been also sent to Islamabad. PSB-I to consider 24 promotion cases: The Provincial Selection Board-I will meet here on February 28 (Monday) to consider 24 promotion cases of BS-19 officers of various departments for the next grade. The meeting will be chaired by Chief Secretary Punjab Nasir Mahmood Khan Khosa, and attended by the officers concerned. These include two each promotion cases of Higher Education, Agriculture and Irrigation, TEVTA, Communication and Works departments, and one each of Health, Information, Culture and Youth Affairs departments, and 14 cases of Services and General Administration Department.
