LAHORE A 7-year-old boy was crushed to death by a rashly driven truck of City District Government here in Kot Lakhpat police area on Friday, police said. Resident of Bhatti Colony, Muhammad Naveed, a class-III student, was on his way home when a recklessly driven truck ran over him. The boy was rushed to the Lahore General Hospital, where doctors pronounced him dead. Eyewitnesses said that the driver tried to escape from the crime scene but local residents managed to capture him. They also thrashed the driver and later handed him over to the police. The police are investigating.
